Job description
Nursing assistant
As a nursing assistant in recognition, you will support nursing staff in the care and treatment of patients in various medical facilities. You will work under the direct supervision of registered nurses or caregivers and make a valuable contribution to healthcare.
- Completed training as a nursing assistant or comparable qualification.
- Empathy and compassion in dealing with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- Ability to communicate in German, both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to undergo further training and obtain additional qualifications in the care sector.
- Resilience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical equipment and computer systems.
- at least German B1 certificate

- Assistance with the daily care of patients, including personal hygiene, dressing and help with feeding.
- Observe and document patient condition, including vital signs and behaviors, and report to nursing staff.
- Assistance with patient mobility, including help with transfers and movement in bed or wheelchair.
- Performing simple medical tasks under supervision, such as taking blood pressure, temperature and blood sugar levels.
- Support in setting up and preparing medical equipment and aids for patients.
- Support in the organization and implementation of leisure activities and rehabilitation exercises for patients.
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the care area and supporting the storage and disposal of medical materials.
- Compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and guidelines as well as compliance with security and data protection regulations.
