Job description
Nursing Assistant / Bachelor of Nursing
- Carrying out pregnancy examinations under the guidance of experienced midwives or doctors
- Attending births to assist and support the obstetricians
- Care for mothers and newborns during the postpartum period
- Advice and support for women in matters relating to pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period
- Documentation of birth histories and medical data
- Compliance with hygiene standards and safety regulations
- Completed training as a midwife or comparable qualification
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with specific work processes and protocols of the respective medical facility
- Knowledge of obstetrics, prenatal and postnatal care
- Empathy and strong communication skills in dealing with expectant mothers and their families
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other medical professionals
- Willingness for further training and personal development
